The NorthWest Florida Continuum of Care (CoC) is designed to coordinate and promote community wellness and efforts in the homelessness response. One of the CoC’s primary responsibilities is to apply for and allocate funds to support provider efforts, along with notifying and educating providers on available funding opportunities.
Upcoming Funding Opportunities:
HUD Publishes the FY 2022 YHDP NOFO – Due on June 27, 2023
YHDP is an initiative designed to address systemic responses to youth homelessness and significantly reduce the number of youth experiencing homelessness. Through this NOFO, HUD will award approximately $60 million in up to 25 participating communities.
FY 2023 CoC Program Competition: Funding Opportunity (coming soon)
The Continuum of Care (CoC) Program Competition occurs annually. Each Fiscal Year Competition process begins with Registration of CoCs by CoC designated Collaborative Applicants, followed by the CoC’s review of Grant Inventory Worksheets (GIW) and the release of the CoC Program NOFO.
Project Rank & Review
The project Ranking and Review process is a community coordinated process for objectively ranking project funding applications based on a community need and HUD specified priorities. This process is updated annually to address emerging needs in the community. The FY2023 Rank and Review procedures coming soon.
